hvc713 - If you have Comcast and already had fuel, it's most likely because Comcast took over your previous cable provider that had a deal with FOX (Fuel).Correct

orcus -I know for me, in Philly, I've had Fuel OnDemand for as long as I can remember. That was my biggest gripe when calling and emailing Comcast. I'm really hoping the announcement means I'll have the proper Fuel experience sooner than later.

Ok someone give me cliff notes of what's been deciphered. When the fox deal started,we had Knowledgy which had FUELTV and fast Internet and all was well despite their god awful on demand service and lack of HD channels. We go to Comcast for less money for more HD channels and better on demand and the stream pix and actually having access to things like HBOGO and the XFINITY mobile app are awesome even though their Internet is absolute shit, but I'd trade it all for FUELTV again. I'd much rather just turn it to said channel then hafta stream a fucking free card via Laptop designated for my HDTV that I should have in HD and flipping to or staying on a channel rather than waiting around here for a link to post fight pressers and queuing it up on my tv via the ps3 WiiU or laptop. I've spent a good 10 hours of my life negotiating with a corporation of old and out of touch people,who've told me they have had hundreds of requests to add 1 more channel to a list of over 500. It's silly and absurd that it's taken this long to add 1 single channel. They make it out as if we're asking them to cram 13 beers in a 12 pack with a request that wouldn't burn more than 15 calories to make happen.

I literally switched to direct tv from Comcast a few months back for FUEL TV. Damn, only 18 more months on my contract. Fuuug

More info is needed. When can customers expect to see the channel added? Will all subscribers get the channel? Will there be an additional charge (only added to higher tiered packages)? I'm elated that a deal was apparently struck, but I've had my hopes up over this for so long, I almost expect to be disappointed.

From my days at comcast i can tell u, Longest I seen a wanted channel take was a few months, quickest was 3 days and that was TNN/Spike. They were a relatively new station BUT when WWE moved there and wrestling fans found out they wouldn't get thier Monday night Raw SHIT HIT THE FAN? Like .2% of customers (which is a huge number when u think about it) threatened to cancel thier service. TNN went from a million homes to being on every cable provider in the country in a week. Vince McMahon and wrestling fans do not fuck around! Lol

I called Comcast and they said it could take a while (maybe June) but it could take a few weeks. So basically I wasted my time both calling them and writing this.
