Man signed to Invicta. Silva's recently acquired, outspoken former UFC badboy turned manager, Tito Ortiz, tells us that it was in his master plan all along to get Wanderlei out of his rut in the UFC and make history in Invicta. "Well, yeah, I mean I called Dana like twice. Left him voicemails and everything. He didn't get right back to us and Invicta had the best, uh offer of the night. I skimmed most of the contract and it looked pretty good."  When asked about how his client, the Axe Murderer, felt about the new change, Tito was very candid, "He's not looking forward to the pre fight pregnancy tests but otherwise he is in high spirits."

Invicta president Shannon Knapp has yet to annouce who the UFC and Pride veteran will be fighting in his debut, though she hints that Chris Leben has a tentative offer on the table that would include a lucrative sponsorship deal with Invicta's newest backer AlphaNail, the men's nail polish company, who are looking to make the jump to women's nail polish business. Look out for Silva Leben II on an Invicta card soon.
