Hey, do you any of you guys attend or know of a school that has females training there? I have a friend in Maryland looking to get into BJJ but she can't find a school that has female classes. If anybody has any info I'd really appreciate if you could email me at mrfantastic06@yahoo.com Thanks |

annapolisbjjclub.com we have two that attend regularly. they are fearless and unintimidated but have a healthy sense of humor which is a must when working with what is primarily a boy's club. both are relatively new and we've had a fair amount of interest from some other women. the more in class the more are likely to come. hope this helps. Maryland has some great places to train, period. hope your friend has some luck. |

I haven't been down to train in a while because of school, but GroundControl has had several females training there. Not sure if there are any that come regularly now though. |

two more have been coming to class, so we've got four altogether now mixing it up with the boys. did your friend ever have any luck? I'm sure she'll have fun wherever she ends/ended up. |
