Titanium Silver, sports package, premium package, nav, heated seats, ipod adapter, comfort access, black leather with brushed aluminum interior. Got $1000 off MSRP with the posted Feb money factor on a 3 year lease. Good deal for my area, but not the best around. I don't care, the car is amazing. It'll take about 3 months to get here. Thats a loooong 3 months!! I'll post pics when it gets here =D |

Great buy man! That's a great car, I love what they've done to the rear end on the new 3 series and I'm sure there are some very easy mods to make that car breathe 350hp. P.S. Take a look at the new M3 here. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50272 |

I wouldn't suggest making any mods to a lease vehicle. Mark |

if he's planning on buying it out then it wont matter. or if he keeps the parts and replaces them when his lease is up(pain in the ass) |

I modded a leased semi-lux sport sedan (audi A4). I wouldn't go crazy but chipping it and keeping a spare ECU doesn't seem horrible to me. I had no problems re-selling to buy out the lease. Course my views on leasing are well known, its like throwing money out your car windows every time your drive. But I don't think that should stop you from mild mods. |

"Course my views on leasing are well known, its like throwing money out your car windows every time your drive." Really depends on your situation. For me, for a number of reasons, leasing is the right way to go. You really have to look at each lease vs. buy on an individual basis. |

Leasing a depreciating asset often makes sense. I can't lease because I drive about 35K miles a year, but if I drove a typical lease amount, 12K miles per year or so, I'd definitely lease a car. |

What terms did you get on your lease? I too am doing a lease. I ordered mine (black with cinnamin interior) and pick it up in July. |

I just saw a masked up BMW coupe on PCH the other day. All hidden with that black tape and stuff. Looked like maybe the new M3? |

Congrats on the car. Tomorrow I pick up my 328 Convertible. Monaco Blue with the saddle leather interior. Premium Package, Sport Package, Ipod, Bluetooth, 18" rims, and lots more. I wanted to go with the 335 or the convertible. Couldn't do both, so I chose the convertible. It is a hard top and looks so awesome when the top is down! Good Luck! |

I wouldn't suggest making any mods to a lease vehicle. Mark If they can easily be reomved with no evidence of them being there then go for it. Just dont ever bring it to a BMW dealer for routine maint. and before bringing it in for wty repair make sure you take off anything that would be an engine mod. "Course my views on leasing are well known, its like throwing money out your car windows every time your drive." Buying any car is throwing money out the window. And this is coming from someone who sells cars for a living. Let's say you buy this $40k car, what will it be worth in 3 yrs with say 45k on it...maybe $20k to trade if you are lucky, you would probably still owe $25-26k (if you only went 60mo) so youre atleast $5k upside down...if the vehicle is in good shape and the miles are in spec and the lease is up you owe $0...you trade out even. |
