Not really a big deal. I've stood out on the edge of the Grand Canyon and climbed inside the caldera of Crater Lake. Heights don't really bother me. |

That spot is on the top of Half Dome in Yosemite. I was there 3 days ago so I can say with certainty NO. I did see a fair number of people walk out on it for pictures. Impressive and crazy. |

No big deal, if you slip, you just have to go limp. I can promise you I'd be limp, as soon as I walked out there. It's not that I get scared so much, but for some reason I get dizzy as hell nowadays in spots like that. Maybe I have some kinda vertigo or something, but I am pretty certain I wouldn't make it that close to the edge. And, those old steel worker pic's have always blown me away, that's some crazy shit. |

Gary is correct, that is Half Dome in Yosemite. I went there and did that in '96 and it was awesome! We also hiked down the zig-zag trail next to the waterfall less than a week before it was permanently closed due to rock/mud slides. |
