How is the Octoberfest? I picked some up last weekend, and I'm going to drink it uring the UFC. |

Oktoberfest is good.. you'll enjoy it... can't describe the flavor tho.... it's been like a week.... but the Winter Lager is like Blue Moon with more of a dark beer flavor.... if i had to choose... i'd go Winter over Oktober |

I loved the Sam Adams Octoberfest. I wish I would have bought more when it was available! Anybody tried the Great Lakes Xmas Ale? |

I guess I fall somewhere near the two extremes... I thought the Sam Adams Winter Lager was OK... but I loved their Octoberfest. Next year I think I'm going to buy a couple cases when I see it. |

Is Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale out yet? That stuff never fails to rock. |

"I thought the Sam Adams Winter Lager was OK" Just had a couple more SA Winters... I raised my opinion of this beer a notch or two. |

I think I'm going accross the border tommorow. I will probably grab......6 of SA Winter Lagers(Been wanting those since I finished 6 last year), 6 Sierra Nevada Celebrations, 4 Samichlaus.....and if it ain't too pricey a Growler of DFH 90Min. It's the Birthday weekend....I figured I might splurge....maybe more if I think they will let me cross the border....LOL |

Thanks Kevin Well I got 12 Winter Lagers, 4 Samichlaus and 1 Rogue (Santa Claus themed...can't remember the name...my wife picked it).....The growler of DFH was waaaay pricey. Next week or two will be the Celebration Ale....I gotta start drinking stuff faster...my little beer fridge gets super full.

Had a GLB Christmas Ale today... had this on tap at Panini's. The taste of clove coming thru pretty much killed it for me, but it's probably a personal preferance thing, since it seems to have gotten pretty good reviews. Oddly enough (especially since I live in the Cleveland metropolitan area), I have yet to find a GLB beer than I'm a big fan of. |

I didn't care for winter lager. A little too bitter for my taste. Octoberfest was great though. |

I loved the Octoberfest so much! I like the Blue Moon as well. The winter ale is ok but I liked the BLue Moon winter better even though I thought I wouldn't |

I tried Sam Adam's Black Lager today for the first time. It's great. I like Octoberfest a little better, but I think it's much better than Winter Lager. |

If you like Sam Summer Ale, I highly recommend Pete's Wicked Rally Cap Ale |

Yeah Petes usually has a mixer pack in the summer. The Rally Cap was pretty tasty. |

Yes its quite tasty. Last night I tried the blue moon seasonal beer "Full Moon." It was pretty good. I don't really enjoy regular blue moon either. |

Tried White Ale yesterday. It's great. Good wheat beer, better than Hiefenweizen. Pretty heavy though. |
