Just wondering if any of you are? The last few months, I have had crazy bacon for breakfast, EVERYDAY. Seriously, i have it every morning....(9 packs in the freezer right now). I also, as a treat, stop at the deli and get the double smoked pork loin, or double smoked bacon/Schpeck(sp?). That shit is soooooo orgasmicly good. Pancetta is becoming a fave of mine as well in foods. Pasta sauces, wraped around chicken...... What are some other yummy cured bacon relative meats that I may like? |

What is pancetta? Pancetta is an Italian bacon that is cured with salt, pepper, and other spices, but is not smoked. Unlike English and American bacon, which are taken from the sides and belly of the pig, may be smoked, and are usually cut into slices, pancetta comes only from the belly, is salt-cured but not smoked, and is generally sold rolled up into sausage shapes (internet info) |
