Canes have been surging lately with a last minute collection of AHL'ers and trade acquisitions. JR looks like a genius round these parts again pulling Samsonov out of a dumpster in Chicago and getting a made to order Corvo for an offensive D threat. I had written them off in Feb. with Brindy's knee ruined...Justin Williams gone....and various other injury woes. This is why i don't bet on sports. I'd love to think Matt Cullen comes back but his concussion issues are pretty scary. If I were him I'd hang 'em up or at least wait till next season. |

JR doesnt look like a genius! Nobody fucking wanted Samsonov! JR was just conveniently filling holes and got lucky. |
