Anyone else like this company? They take a shellacking on Beeradvocate but I think it's mostly due the fact that they are owned by Coors. I have some of their Rising Moon ale and quite like it. Tried the reg Blue Moon(Rickards White), the Full Moon and now the Rising moon. Don't get me wrong they are far from being a complex set of beers and there are much better beers out there. But as a whole it's not a bad tasting beverage and a great starter beer to introduce to your macro swilling friends. What say you food and drink ground? |

It's decent, and widely available, which is always a plus. I want to punch my waitress in the cunt when she brings it in a glass with a giant orange slice on the rim. |

Blue Moon Belgian was the best beer I ever drank. Mind you I pretty much hate all beer. But I remember me and the wife had done a marathon museum session at the Smithsonian and we dragged ass back to my uncle's house and he handed me one. I took a sip and was like, "Oh my God, this is unbelievably awesome" and killed it in one drink. Then the next one. If you knew how I can nurse a beer you'd be impressed by that. I thought it was finally a non-girly adult beverage I could love.
So anyway, later on I buy a six pack of that and crack one open, ready for the goodness. I take a big drink and there it was, bitter and turpentiney. Just like all the rest. At my uncle's I was fooled by my maddening thirst. I almost cried. I was back to Coors Light and other sex in a canoe* beers. I'm such a faggot. *Sex in a canoe = fucking close to water |

Just tried the Honey Moon tonight and I have to say it's not nearly as good as the others(with the exception of Pumpkin which I haven't tried) The Sierra Nevada Summer Fest Lager was fantastic. I should have gotten a 12 of that and 6 of the Honey Moon not vice versa. |

Blue Moon's Belgian White is a dumbed down version of a true Belgian Witbier. its a beer where adding a citrus slice is recommended because the lack there of. with that said they have solid releases and i would gladly drink any of them. |

^^ Making notes that's a good idea. I wonder if it would go the way of my Bjj note book too...LOL It would make it easier though...I mean holy crap I have had tons of beers now. I am retrying stuff and thinking to myself..have I tried this already? |

Kinda sad...I'm not the biggest fan of their Winter Ale. I am going to see if there is any of their Pumpkin floating around(it may even be on sale). If not I have to wait till the Rising Moon comes back. |
