She barely won Indiana last night and was beat like a rented mule in N.C. Today it comes out that she loaded her campaign 6.4 million because she is unable to raise enough money. So is the writing on the wall ? |

She's hanging on to be named Vice-President at the convention. If you want to know what will happen to Obama after that, review some of the OG threads over the past week on the Clinton body bags. |

Neither of them can win enough delegates outright to take the nomination, so it will all come down to the super delegates. Her only hope is that she has enough dirt on them that they will vote for her. Also, she is still trying to get the party to seat all of the delegates from Florida and Michigan, which I do not see happening, but that would give her additional pledged delegates as well. |

It's definitely over. She'd need 84% of votes in the remaining states. No one's even come close to that in any single state this primary. |

It's over now. She may want to go on to West Virginia and Kentucky where she is favored to win and raise some cash to pay off her debts. Oregon will crush her after that. |

Obama won't choose her as VP because he's running on a campaign that is offering the alternative to the old Washington politics. Having Bill and Hillary Clinton in the white house with him won't be something he will consider. He should choose Wesley Clark to help heal the divide between his camp and the Clinton camp, and help get him the support of her supporters. It will also put an old white man on the ticket, a respected general, and a southerner. He's the perfect VP for Obama. |

I dont know much about politics, but lets say Obama wins the presidency. Can he fire his vice president during his term? Or can that only be carried out by congress? |

McCain can't even hold a lead with Obama getting hammered for weeks by the press. He has no chance when the press finally starts looking at him. It's going to be a landslide victory for Obama. |

"It's definitely over. She'd need 84% of votes in the remaining states. No one's even come close to that in any single state this primary. " why do people keep saying stuff like this? People aren't talking about Hillary winning the nomination outright. Obama can't even do that anymore. Either way this is going to the convention, there's no need to keep talking about delegate counts or percentages people need to win states by |

I'm pretty sure if hillary wins by some kind of corrupt ass superdelegate landslide, people wont stand for that BS. The democratic party needs to take a look at themselves and say "Bush is giving us this presidency and we are coming close to fucking it up, step your ass down Billary" |

It's going to be a landslide victory for Obama. While I agree that Wes Clark would be good for Obama, it will in no way be a landslide. You're underestimating the number of racist rednecks who would vote for ANYBODY just so Obama wouldn't win. |

With all the negative attention Obama has received in the past few weeks, with the press giving McCain a complete pass while the democrats have been delivering them huge ratings and readership, how could McCain not be well ahead in the polls right now? http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/us/general_election_mccain_vs_obama-225.html |

Didn't Clark publicly endorse Hillary? There would be some ironing in Obama naming Clark as his VP after that. |

seg - Didn't Clark publicly endorse Hillary? There would be some ironing in Obama naming Clark as his VP after that. Clark has always been very respectful toward Obama because he wants the Democratic VP from either candidate. He also irons a mean shirt. |

"You're underestimating the number of racist rednecks who would vote for ANYBODY just so Obama wouldn't win." i'd be willing to bet real money on the idea that however many "racist rednecks" there are in this country, there are three times as many racist blacks who will vote for Obama just because he's black Obama's carrying 91% of the black vote, Hillary isn't getting 90% of the white vote. if you want to talk about racism and this election cycle, "rednecks" are the wrong area to look at |

Obama's VP needs to be someone who puts the interests of Muslims over that of Americans. Hey, I wonder if George W Bush can be VP? |
