Apparently hepatitis B is the most infectious version, and is chronic in 15% of cases. Bad news for Aleks.

Will be interesting to hear the final word....

Because Aleks has fought in Canada. And supposedly HCF tests everybody throughly in Canada.

just because he's tested positive for hep b doesn't necessarily mean he's had it all along

sad though, his career is over

Didn't they think Diego had the hep before the Koscheck fight? Hopefully for Aleks' sake this test was wrong. Maybe he should hire Sherk for damage control.

This thread will have a lot of people who doubted Golden Boy saying "lol @ those who doubted golden boy" in an attempt to save face.

Wait, I thought it was just the illuminati/CSAC sabotaging a non UFC show.

Could it possibly be they were just looking out for fighters' welfare? Nah...

Shit, this is really bad.  There's no cure for Hep B so it would mean the end of his career.

TheDigitalRuler - is Hep B curable?

There are treatments, but no cure. Either your own immune system is able to remove the virus, or the viral DNA will be with you forever. Chronic cases may show no outward symptoms, but as long as the viral DNA is in your bloodstream and liver, it will always be contagious. So, this could be the end of Aleks's career.
