I went to a Golfsmith over here today and asked the guy how much it cost to get fitted and he said it was free. I don't feel like I'm swinging very hard(fast), but my club head speed averaged 102-103. My fasted was 112 and it said the ball went 290 yards. Of course I have a slice and my launch angle is too high(15-17 degrees). Anyways... now that I'm fitted I looked at their used irons and then checked them out online when I got home. I think I'm gonna go back and buy the Ping ISIs tomorrow. I know they're antiques, but read a bunch of reviews and they sound pretty good. I think they're $180-200. Anybody here ever use them? |

Well, I bought the ISIs today. Can't wait to use them. I asked the guy to recommend a ball for me around $20. He hooked me up with some Snake Eyes SDFs. Anybody have any experience with them? At this point, I'm not sure which ball I use will have too much of an effect on my game. lol |

I used my new clubs today. My score wasn't any better than usual, but I felt like I hit the ball a lot better. My first shot ever hitting a ball with one of these clubs landed on the green from about 150 yards. A lot better than miscellaneous rental clubs. Some of which seem to be fitted for somebody 5'4" |
