The hole was 185 and it was my 3 wood. I nearly crapped myself. I didn't see it go in the sun was really bad in my eyes. I knew I hit it good and saw it was headed right for the pin, but I thought it bounced over the green. My buddy and I looked for my ball for 5 minutes before I decided why not just check the hole. First time i've ever broken a hundred today too. I'm definitely getting hooked on this game. |

steve you are a power hitter!! But seriously this dude i play with use driver off every tee, even short par 3's. He can hit it about 250 normally, but he uses half swings on par 3's. He's surprisingly good at it, he just cant keep it on small greens, but he doesnt understand that for some reason. |

MakeItRain - 3 wood on a 185? Damn. I woulda hit a 6 or a 7. and come up short or, if you're lucky, roll to the front green. 185 yd 7 iron is longer than most pros. |

smac 2.0 - "3 wood on a 185? Damn. I woulda hit a 6 or a 7." If I'm short I'm usually at the edge of the green. My Wedge is the best part of my game. I rarely bogie a Par 3, unless I completely do something stupid off the T. It is Par 5's that kill my game and Narrow Fairways, as my driving sucks balls. Not the distance but keeping it straight. |
