Have you ever seen The Naked Truth by Jordan Maxwell? There has been a lot written about this over the years, even the 10 commandments was taken from the Book of the Dead. |

I just came across a source that states that the story of Moses being found in a reed basket and taken to Pharoah is based off an earlier story from Ancient Mesopotamia in which Sargon of Akkad supposedly was found in the same manner and eventually came to rule all of Mesopotamia. Sargon dates to about 2300 b.c., probably a good 1,000 years before Moses suppoesdly lived. The Old Testament just used the old Mesopotamian story and changed the names. |
