So I underestimated how quickly the price of guns, ammo and magazines would skyrocket after the election. I just went to a gun show yesterday, and the line was outrageous. Prices on AKs have doubles. ARs are well over $1K now. Three weeks ago you could by an M-4 lower receiver for $100. Now you're lucky to find one for $200. I would like to purchase a good main battle weapon for dispensing with zombie hordes, etc. My first choice would be the M4, but that is most likely out of my price range. Second may be an AK, but I'm not positive. I am actually strongly considering the mini-14, but I have heard the accuracy horror stories and I know about the problems with misfeeds. I may also consider the Kel-Tec Su-16. It is affordable and I am told is fairly accurate. Any thoughts?
