What type of storage solution would you guys think of for auto fuel? Thoughts???? |

I don't think gasoline stores well. Ethanol blended fuels suck up water and make it almost unsuable. Petrol and alcohol don't mix so the separate. Even if you get 100% gasoline it will gum up, evaporate after a few years. Using fuel stabilzer will help but I don't think you can keep it for more than 3-5 years before you start having problems. Diesel has problems with algee from what I understand, again additives. I am no expert but I know a little about this stuff because I deal with engines. |
