a couple of threads about this injury got me thinking. how many of you who have torn a tendon or ligament have had IV antibiotics before this happened? The reason i ask is that there is some research that indicate there is an increased risk of rupture for people who have had certain antibotics IV. |

I have torn both and no I wasn't on anything at the time. |

fearOfABlackPlanet - worlds laziest ambulance chaser^not quite, i am working on my masters in nursing science to be an NP. i was looking to see if there was something worth researching... i was actually looking for people who had the antibotics first then the injury. |

some of the first generation's of quinolones showed spontaneous achilles tendon ruptures. |
