TTT Entries have already started coming through. I've also had interest from interstate competitors at different belt levels. Should be a great event. Elvis Events BJJ |

Elvis - Just over a week to go til the comp. Anyone from this forum competing? I will be dragging my lazy, ageing blue belt butt from Canberra onto the mat. Quite a few guys coming from my team (Renato Vieira), maybe 5 including myself. There's also at least two of the Epic boys from my knowledge. |

The event is looking good. Also great to see lots of female competitors as well. All ranks from white to black represented so far in entries. |

dojo stormer - hey armbar, i thought you were an epic guy or machado guy previously. You're right, I was with Epic. Renato setup shop 3 mins drive (and that's exactly how long it takes) from my house, has classes more often and the hours suited me a lot more. It also helps that he's a great guy and a good coach. I've got no beef with the Epic guys and am still in regular contact with them. |

that's cool. a main reason i left a machado gym was because i wasn't into the whole quasi-bjj gym thing. i moved to a bjj gym that had a lot more times and just taught bjj and not aero-kickboxing and also other things cluttering the timetable. plus you don't know unless you don't give another place a try. best decision i made, although brazos are strange in the way they do some things. |

^^ Renato's based out of Phoenix Gym in Canberra, which is a very long running full-time KB gym. Phoenix aligned itself with Double Dragon, which in turn is with TP Gym, which is how Renato got in on the mix I believe. He has his way of doing things, that's a bit different to what I'm used to, but it's cool regardless. Watching him tough it through a Canberra winter has been pretty funny though. The first month or so, he was wearing a full track suit under his gi! |

Hey Guys, Back to the topic at hand. The draws have been completed and are available on the website www.eventsbjj.com the schedule will go up tomorrow. We also have picked up Amazon Power as a sponsor and they will be at the event selling Acai! Many thanks to them. We have also had great support from all our sponsors. We will have numerous prizes, Gi's, Tshirts, Bags, Caps, Beanies and much more. Many thanks again to all our sponsors. Regards, Elvis Sinosic Events BJJ |

Many thanks to Elvis and the Events BJJ team. The comp was extremely well organised and ran very smoothly. Only feedback I've got is about the the venue. All the facilities were good and there was plenty of space, but for a Leisure centre, there was very little food to buy at the cafe, so a lot of folk went hungry! Other than that, tops event! |

Thanks for your input we do appreciate all feedback. We were aware of the food issue and tried to get some food services but were unable to secure any in time. We will endevour to resolve that for the next event. Thankfully we also had a great sponsor with Amazon Power which provided some great Acai. |
