Here’s the translation of Cro Cop’s key points:

Fedor
“Everyone knows that all the top fighters are in the UFC and that the its is the only global MMA organization. One would think that it should be Fedor demanding to fight in the UFC [not the other way around].. I cant really see who he’ll fight outside the UFC.”

The Title
“I’ll take it one fight at a time, with the aim of winning the title and staying happy and healthy. Should I win my next two fights, a title shot could be next and that could come soon. Maybe even before the year ends.

Lesnar
“He has been an athlete all his life but he still very new to MMA. I’m an old school fighter, I believe in technique, that’s not a strength of his at the moment but everything he lacks in technique he makes up with his incredible physical strength and size.”

And you know what...I get to talk to a pretty diverse group of casual to hardcore MMA fans on a daily basis. The general conclusion I am hearing without giving my two cents to adjust their opinions at all...Is that everybody who knows about Fedor, thinks Fedor is a chicken shit for not coming to the UFC. They are all laughing about it.

That's the truth. I don't say anything to make them think that way. I just listen.

Different group then the ones I talk to - the opinion is pretty split here. Curiously enough, those who are self-employed or work for small companies(contractors, high tech guys in start ups etc) support Fedor, those who work for a big company support the UFC. Different sense of what's good business I guess.

Interestingly enough, I think Chuck Liddell is the only fighter who has called Fedor a chicken ... which says volumes in itself. Guys who know they'll never meet, or have to fight Fedor seem to find it easier to call him a coward. I note that not even Crocop (who in the past said Fedor was ducking him) is calling him a coward anymore.

Gotta love it, small company guys support Fedor. Why. because they hace had to battle similar corporate juggernauts, and can identify with Fedor's feelings of being taken advantage of (UFC could arbitrarily end the deal at any time, meaning if there was a fluke loss, UFC could cut him loose, right then and there!)

And the guys working for the corporate Machine, well, they hace also been up against the corporate juggernaut, looking to exploit them, except they took the corporate offer, because 'eneryone else did, there is no choice, the small guys will go out of business, I want security, blah blah blah blah blah'

Says it all, really. If you worship money & power, Fedor's motives will seem very fake and insincere to you.

They could hace closed this deal in goddamn 2007! In negotiations, it is never one party's fault, but in this case, it does seem like UFC will crack before M1. You have ignored this user.
