I know this is posted all over, but I was curious about local opinion on this. I personally thought Shogun won the fight. I did not see any thing that made me think this is the "Machida Era". I'm worried that the UFC is becoming the new WWF. Gary |

I don't follow you on the new WWF thing, but I did think Shogun won the fight. Another textbook example of why the 10 point must system doesn't work well in MMA. |

Hey Mark, just been working like crazy. Can't seem to get to the gym. Hope I can make it by soon. Hello, I'm mostly talking smack about the WWF thing. I should have put a :) by that one. But, There's big money involved. Big money helped boxing look like it was having problems with corruption. The WWF finally had to admit to being scripted and change to the WWE. How many times have we heard that UFC fighters need an entertaining fight for the fans? Is the UFE far behind? That's just a bunch of random thoughts thrown together. But, controversial decisions can be an indicator of things to come. http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/1697/junkyard9zg.jpg http://www.mmaroot.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/quinton-rampage-jackson-4.jpg G |
