Foot Infection... plus Trans-pacific Flight !

Okay I am hopping on a trans-pacific flight today (13 hours) and unfortunately I just came down with a foot infection.

I believe it started as ringworm / athlete's foot but started puffing up two days ago. I have anti-biotics now, but i'm wondering some things

- Should i keep the foot covered or not ? I know airplanes are germy

- Should i elevate it or not ?

- My girlfriend even suggested popping the sore with a hot needle to ooze out the pus. ????

Thoughts ?
