Subway isn't even all that old if you compare it to other joints, but now subs are super popular. Before subway the only place I remember getting subs from was when KMart had their own eatery type thing. Man that shit was good too. |

ArtWanderlei - Subway isn't even all that old if you compare it to other joints, but now subs are super popular. I used to love those subs and I wouldn't get a fresh on either. One that had been out all day or 2. Somehow it all melted together even though it was refrigerated. We used to get our subs from Togos back in the day. |

Oh yeah. Plus some party stores have really good ones still if they are made there. KMART's little eatery used to be a lot different and they had pretty good subs too. |

Ate tasty subs I am assuming. Subway's food is so terrible, nothing has flavor, it takes like a cup of their sweet onion sauce to make it taste like anything. They are known for stale bread, soggy thawed out flat bread, gray vegetables and otherwise overpriced shit. Granted their sub is 5.00 but the minute you add chips and a drink it jumps to like 9 or 10 dollars. Half the subs are no longer 5 dollars anymore and you can never keep track of what is a 5 dollar sub or not. I stick to Jersey Mike's that is where it is at! |

Local deli's where I grew up. There used to a chain called Blimpie's. I wondered if it's by the same corp as Subway because of the similarities in logo design and color. |

K-Mart subs were awesome! Their food area now sells like microwave hotdogs and shit. Things aren't the same. |

Yeah, the local deli was a lot more prominent back then....there was a deli about 2 1/2 miles from my house as a kid and I would make the painstaking walk down there to get a roast beef sandwich and soda.
