Hey Vinny, congrats, beautiful job scissoring out from his bump rt into mount, that was sweet! and heavy hands are good. Keep working power punching to clinch to top game, but you are also so good off your back if you had some Great high round kicks and setups that would be the bomb....worse case a guy falls in while you are kicking and ends up in your guard! Are you probably up to like 227 or so by fight time? |

After the fight, how much time do you figure you'll spend working with Fedor? |

When's your contract with M-1 up? They've got to get you back in the UFC or at least SF!! |

Vinny Magalhaes vs. Victor Nemkov: Collision For Gold
Deserving Warriors Determine M-1’s Light Heavyweight Champion
New York, NY (April 5, 2011) – Adding a second title fight to M-1 Challenge XXV: Zavurov vs. Magomedov 2, Europe’s leading mixed martial arts promotion (MMA), locks down BJJ Ace Vinny Magalhaes (7-5) and submission specialist Viktor Nemkov in a battle to determine M-1 Global’s light heavyweight (205 Lbs) champion. The April 28th card’s main event pits current welterweight (170 Lbs) champion Shamil Zavurov (19-1) in his second title defense against top contender, Rashid Magomedov (8-1). Fans can capture the duo of title tilts taking place from the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia, LIVE online on the official M-1 Global website, www.M-1Global.com and M-1 Global facebook fan page starting at 11:00am EST / 8:00am PST on Thursday April 28th.
“We’ve been impressed with how Magalhaes and Nemkov have been performing in their last outings. This has been a fight we’ve been looking to put together for a while and with both fighters healthy and on solid winning streaks, this matchup made sense to make happen sooner than later,” said Evgeni Kogan, Director of Operations for M-1 Global. “Both men have been vocal about wanting a title shot and now they will meet to determine our light heavyweight champ.”
So Vinny's gonna be a champ! |

Vinny, a little off topic but how does Forrest Griffin's ground game compare to yours when you guys roll? I'm not trying to get any trash talk, I'm just curious because a lot of credible BJJ guys say his ground game is actually pretty awesome, we just never get to see it because he likes to bang. What does he do really well? |
