Who are the top heavyweights in Florida that are non-UFC/Strikeforce Fighters. This is my list so far: (not in any particular order) 1. Jeff Monson (42-11) 2. Chris Barnett (7-1) 3. Mario Rinaldi (11-5) 4. Tom Sauer (22-12) 5. Eddie Boza (3-1) 6. David Yost (7-3) 7. Marcio Cruz (7-2) [Inactive for about a year though] 8. Mike Buchkovich (11-4-1) I want to try to get a top ten list put together to put on aroundtheoctagon.com and uscombatsports.com. Any suggestions or opinions would be very much appreciated. Thanks. |

djmackocean11 - Who are the top heavyweights in Florida that are non-UFC/Strikeforce Fighters. Tommy is a great guy but one of his L is from Marcio Cruz same with Yost so no way you can rank them above him. Plus I think he will be back soon |

I have all the respect in the world for Jeff Munson but I dont think he beats Barnett at this point in his career. Did anyone see his last fight on Fight Time? |

I think Barnett is the future. No one that big should be that agile and quick but he's def the truth and the future for sure |

Barnett is so fast and explosive. I am really hoping he can get the weight cutting thing down because he will go very far. He is like a damn cannon ball in there against those taller guys. When he beat Harris in his last fight, Harris said he couldn't even see the leg kicks coming and ultimately that is what took Walt's power away. Look at how he turned the fight around against Rinaldi.. A READY Barnett beats all of those guys on the list any time. |
