Why aren't votes visible?

NorthFromHere 245 Member Since: 1/4/07 Posts: 10767	Why aren't the amount of vote downs/ vote ups that a user gets visible for others? If exact numbers is too much to ask, at least show us some kind of ratio (ie. reputation) of these votes.

It helps keep the troll votes to a minimum as people are less likely to do it if they cannot remain anonymous. hey another suggestions; you should be able to see who votes u up and/or down. For instance, there's been plenty of times someoone makes a thread, gets voted down (3 points) just because someone feels like it. It makes the whole system seem stupid (especially since you can't see the red arrows/vote downs anymore).

on another MMA forum we have a similar system of "rep" points and that works very well and people publically, even see who rep'd them up and/or down.

Also, there is currently no way to know what post got voted up/down since the count changes on every post you've ever made when one post gets voted on. This makes it impossible to adjust. There is no point in a feedback system if you don't know what you're doing right or what needs to change.
