Everyone please pray for my Sensei, friend and coach Joe Battaglia and his family , he broke his neck rolling (jitz) last night. He's in getting an MRI now. |

UPDATE: He just got out of a 2+hr mri, he is able to move hand and feet, we are seeing now if he has to have surgery |

Update spine doctor said he didn't see a complete break just fracture but the head radiologist has to look at the mri still, will be on r&r for a while, he has to stay until his pain is regulated |

Update Joe has a fracture and has to wear a neck brace for 2 weeks and we have to see if the numbness goes away in his hands and arms but he is mobile and on some good meds |

Holy poop, that sucks but glad to see it looking better. I was planning on hanging out with him for a little while tonight, guess not. Get better soon Joe!!! |
