Hey peeps; as the title suggests I am looking for somewhere (much pref north of river) to train BJJ. I'm a newcomer who just wants to give it a crack for a bit of fun & a new challenge. Just looking for any opinions / experiences / recommendations for schools from anyone here... TIA |

Academy of mixed martial arts in mirabooka. 12:00 Monday to Friday 6:00 -7:00 Tuesday to Thursday 7:00-8:00 Monday to Thursday

Goioere BJJ in Malaga: http://www.braziliancombat.com.au/ A Nova Uniao school with two black belt instructors that are world class. Will Dias won the World Pro Gi qualifier in Sydney against black belts while a brown belt and did well in the World Pro. Goioere has many titles to his name also. Lots of the guys have won state/national/pan pacific championships as well. Lots of training times, great facilities and great people. There's also muay thai, capoeira and fitness training as well. New guys are always coming through and always welcome! Can't recommend highly enough. |

Thanks tr1ps for the info :) Had a quick look, place looks quality. Good info on what styles are offered but had a hard time finding a membership or fees section will take a closer look at the weekend when I'm on a real computer & not a damn iPhone lol Cheers; |

Yep, Goioere for sure, Will is a beast and was the best brown in Aus until he got his black. His old man is a nice dude - super cruizy. I don't think you can go wrong with these guys. |
