Failed his initial hazing big time. Not ready for the big leagues. Take a year off, put on some serious muscle and try again. http://diesel67pix.multiply.com/video/item/262 . . .and he's DOWN! |

Hazing is a good way to put it. I've never seen a player at his level get the amount of defensive attention he has gotten. He is getting played like he's Lebron James, not Mike James. He's getting trapped, chased, pressed, hedged way out, or even doubled on every trip down the floor. Kyrie Irving doesn't get guarded like this. John Wall doesn't. Kemba Walker doesn't. Hell Deron Williams and Chris Paul never get guarded like this. The only PG I've seen defended in a similar way in a long time is Derrick Rose. It's working for Knicks opponents, because Amare and Carmello aren't making teams pay. Amare is seeing fewer doubles than he's seen in years, and Carmello is seeing more one on one coverage than he's seen in his whole life. And they still aren't producing. |

Kyrie Irving, John Wall, and Kemba Walker don't get nearly the media hype that Lin did. With that kind of attention you gotta be ready to roll with the punches. |

PoundforPound - Kyrie Irving, John Wall, and Kemba Walker don't get nearly the media hype that Lin did. Plus, none of them have shown they can win. If these guys got defended like Lin has been the last few weeks, they would look as bad or worse. Lin will probably have a better career than Wall and Kemba. Well, he will absolutely have a better career than Kemba. Irving is the real deal offensively and will be an all star for years. Once the mystique wears off Lin, or if Carmello and Amare start playing like they used to, he will start playing better. I don't think he's a distributing point, he's a scorer IMO, but he can play a lot better than he has lately. Linsanity is over for sure, but the guy is a capable player right now. He doesn't need a year off. |

he's doing amazingly well considering he's getting triple teamed often. people are definitely hating on his hype. he didn't ask for it. blame the media. not him. |

That organization is a fucking joke!! They've gotta change the roster or get Phil Jackson as their coach to deal with the sorry bitch primadonna's they've got. |
