Erik Morales or Juan Manuel Marquez, would they have won or lost and if they won would it be a better win then Marco Antonio Barrera? |

His best shot is against Morales as he liked to brawl and often didnt bother with defence on the account of having immense punch resistance. If he fought carelessly against Hamed, he could definitely get KOed. If he fought smart, he could come away with a clear-cut win. An on-form JMM humiliates Hamed, possibly stopping him late. |

both tough fights for Naz , he had lost his way completely by the time he fought Barrera , he had the skills to compete with those guys but he didn't have the dedication or grounding , mentally weak . his skills were enough to get him into the ring with those guys but he didn't have it upstairs . no humility , no resilience . watch the documentary , it tells you all you need to know about why Naz never reached the very top , it's basically because he already thought he was there .

Yep, too technically sound and too good at defending an onslaught then attacking with long, hard, accurate punches as the guy moves back. Terrible matchup for Hamed. |

PNH was a big fraud, he would have been schooled by both. He did any hard yards, had a bs inflated record like Hatton, hence his lesson from MAB. |

If you include guys who gave up their belts to fight Hamed, he won all 4 major belts at featherweight. He had hall of fame punching power and genuine matural talent but could never be bothered to learn how to box properly. |

IMO he had the natural talent, the speed and the power to be a genuine hall of famer. But once he made a bit of money by the age of 25 or whatever he could no longer give a fuck. |

No it isn't. He genuinely had some of the most fluid and hard hitting punching technique I have seen in a boxer. He was a 5ft 3" featherweight and punched like a solid middleweight. Even Emmanuel Steward said as much. |

You can make an arguement that he wasn't a good puncher as he was never able to fight well against top class prime fighters and land power shots on them. But he could fucking dig. Barrera said after the fight that Hamed's power was terrifying - he said Hamed threw a right hand that hit his elbow, then his shoulder and the connected on the side of his face and the impact was still so great that it caused the back of his nose to start bleeding down his throat. |

Lol people love to rag on hamed (and to be frank he deserves it much of the time) but people love to belittle his ability and rewrite history that he wasnt actually a monster puncher. Like the poster earlier also saying that had a bs inflated record. 99.99% of boxers would kill to retire with Hatton's record. 45-2 record with 32 KOs with his two losses coming from the two top p4p fighters of the era. Wins against Tszyu, Phillips, Castillo, Malignaggi, Urango , multi-weight champion etc |

Punching power? He was very powerful...that straight lead was rocking people. But that's all he had...was a very poor man Roy Jones Jr. VERY POOR. But had tremendous power. |

His lead left uppercut was especially powerful but in general he could generate tremendous leverage in any of his punches. I think calling him a poor man's Roy Jones is fair though. At least Jones bothered to learn the basics and apply them now and again and didn't think he was invulnerable. |

Hamed couldn't have handled either of them. He had natural tallent but immature boxing skills. Plus Barrera killed his heart. After losing to Barrera he took only one easy fight so he could finish on a win and that was it. NO GUTS ! |

I have to be honest and say he lost his heart long before he fought Barrera. I'd say it happened once he made his first couple of million. |
