This was a really tough one. Jesus. I just hoped some people poked around the store and someone would choose the exact bundle I wanted or close to it. A friend of the sport is a friend of mine, but beyond that, some of the stories touched me. I can't choose one and I am not rich so I broke it up and added 100 bucks. So instead of one person getting 200 bucks, four people get 75 bucks, and I hope you have fun with it: Crooklyn for Tyler Ransom $75 Sk1tzO420 for son and daughter $75 UGCTT_Lanfeare for son $75 ITS_KGEEZY for brother $75 I'll email each of you with the address we have on file, and when you respond, we will have a coupon sent to that address in the amount of $75. -- When I was a kid they had a tv contest where housewives ran through a grocery store with a cart filling it up as fast as possible. Who ever checked out with the highest amount won. The dumb ones would throw big stacks of paper towels in. The winning amount would be $114.55 or something, which would buy a bag of organic green beans at Whole Foods today. For this contest, no one has to run. You have a week or at least a few days. Go to Underground Store (set up an account if you haven't ordered before) and make a Wish List. Post in this thread with what is in your wish list, and the one the Underground Store Operations Committee likes the best will win an Underground Store coupon for $200. If you have a heart breaking or warming story, it might help. For example, if your Wish List includes a Hayabusa Uwagi jacket and you say it is the coolest jacket eva and you want one I will be touched, as I had one, but someone took it. That jacket is very awesome.  Or you could say GSP is my hero so I too have been rolling in a white speedo but I think these are cool, too.  I will then know you are "that guy" at your gym, and will try to help. |

I added a Diamond compression shorts with cup because I almost guillotined my wedding tackle while rolling the other day, but it's the wrong size: there's only size S in stock, and I'm most likely a M. Therefore, I also included a gameness air gi because I'm currently rolling with a low end judo gi that's really too heavy for me. It's perfectly serviceable, so I can't justify buying a new one. My plan is to buy one once I earn my blue belt or turn 38, which ever comes first. As for the sad story, I don't really have one. I'm not well off, but when I have extra money, I tend to spend it on others, not myself. I do it without hope of recognition, but I think others on the UG would attest to my generosity. I used to use the gift certificates you get when you buy a blue for others at the UG store (and have given those away in the past as well), but sadly the new store does not allow gift certificates any more. I'm a pretty good dude, and I'm told good things happen to us sometimes. Either way, I love this place. |

I put the faber tuf team shirt, and the rev gear super fight youth shirt. One is for my wife, because about six months ago my daughter was diagnosed with sensory processing disorder. Which is whee she doesn't interpret touch input like every one else, and she can't talk right because of it, and has "meltdowns"about once a week as a result of her brain not processing things. My wife has been relentless with her therapy, and has done great things for her, and had never given up, and puts Mady first. Which brings me to the other shirt this one is for my oldest who had stuck by and understood when her sister is having a bad day, and been great with helping us. She doesn't get the detention she deserves, and loves sitting with me and watching the fights when she gets a chance. The reason for this selection is because ever since we had a GJJ gym open in our city I have wanted to get me and my son into it. I have been doing the Gracie bullyproof lessons with him but would love to start him off on the right foot. |

The second shirt is made by No Mas. nuff said. The Hayabusa Elite 16 oz. gloves, I have heard, are some of the nicest gloves in the UG store. They would be awesome. The Hayabusa pro mma gloves look to be great quality and comfortable. Jaco Vale Tudo shorts. I wanna be like GSP with tight shorts to show off my donk. Korean Zombie shirt is badass, and represents a badass fighter. Venum Brazil beach towel. Its simple. I'm addicted to expensive beach towels. I dont need any of this. All i NEED is food, water, clothing, and shelter. No sob stories here. I'm a man. But it would really tickle me to win a contest. |

As far the stories go, it doesn't have to be sad. When I was in 7th grade (it was the 70s) we had to write on essay on what we owed mother Earth. I wrote some blah blah thing on rain and corn or something. One kid did that, too, and then he wrote about all the cuts and broken dones and colds he got, and how he wishes he do some of that to Mother Earth. Miguel Wilson just wrote "I don't owe the world a damn thing, because I didn't ask to be born." I forgot who won the best essay contest, Miguel or the other kid. This does not have to be a charity thread, just want to know what you really want to buy and why! |
