Does this mean the new Xbox and play station games will be 70 now? Wii usually gives a 10 price difference to make up for being a less impressive display. Is this a sign of things to come?... Hope not.

Oh wow you beat me to it. I was just about to make this thread. I would guess next gen games for PS4 and Xbox 720 could get even more pricey than 70 dollars. 75 or even 80 would be my guess.

The industry is trending towards free to play or cheaper downloadable games in a lot of respects. 80 dollars would be suicide.. Except for the triple A blockbusters.

This is what happens when the console and game makers get cocky. This is what killed the first run of consoles. If they try and run these things out for 800 bucks with games priced at 80 dollars just watch the market collapse. |

There is not a game good enough in this world that I would pay 70 for. This shit is ridiculous. Gamefly here i come
