Pepper after you play it for a couple of hours can you tell me what this new scoring system is all about? I heard that TreyArch completely changed the online play formula and that this is the best CoD since MW1. |

Yeah no prob. Picking it up later, in about 4 hours so bear with me. I heard it is based on the points you get for completing actions rather then per kill. For example to get a uav you need 300 points. That's 3 kills (100 points per kill in tdm) or 1 kill (100 points) and say 1 flag cap in Dom (200 points) if that makes scene.

Only CoD that I've ever been excited about owning. When I heard it would be as good as MW1, I went out and pre-ordered it. |

Well the servers are down so can only do combat training. Any tell what lvl the ksg is unlocked as everything is unlocked in combat training. The scorestreaks stack, I have just been using uav, hellstorm (like pred missile) then lightining strike (like mirror strike). They seem to stack well. The whole create a class thing will take some getting used to. A lot to change and swap about. Weapon camos are wicked. As for assault rifles they all seem to be much for much, nothing standing out too much. Scorestreaks work that the points you earn for capping, kills, planting, defuse ect all go toward you score for the score streak. Example a uav is no longer 3 kills/points its now 350 points. So it's entirely possible to cap a few flags in Dom and get a uav without killing anyone. Also kills from team mates when you uav is up give you assist points towards the next streak.

Hunter killer drone is crap. You throw a paper aeroplane that explodes. The dragonfly is like the recon drone from mw3 but kinda weak and shot down easily. Orbital vsat is amazing, just like the blackbird. Dogs are brilliant. Rc-xd is same and annoying.

Escort drone is same as ah6 over watch. Lodestar is same as reaper. Swarm is good, just bombs from everywhere, but dogs are best top streak.

Another quick question is their a prestige token or anything that allows you to unlock weapons early when you prestige?

Kind of like cod points from bo. You unlock perks, weapons etc but have to spend these tokens on then to use them. Not sure about prestige tokens, only rank 9. There are some hardcore Parker who have this early. Ran into a full optic party ten a full fear party. Got murdered.

So I have a couple of hours online play. From what I have seen, this a new polished version of black ops. Maps and guns have the same feel. None of your kill streaks feel over powered. The create a class system they have done, is not really growing on me. Basically you get 10 points to use and every perk, gun, tac and lethal and attachment are worth between 1 and 2 points. Personally I think it does not work to well and is to far removed from the normal pick gun, attachment and 3 perks system we are used to. There is just no point wasting a point on choosing a secondary pistol when you can have a 4th perk. But time will tell. Over all, at the moment black ops 2 is what mw3 was to mw2. They look and play very similar to the predecessor. Although black ops 2 has much better colour. The kill/point/score streaks in black ops 2 are a little too similar to all the old streaks we have already used and nothing is really new. Yes it is a good game, but I did expect more.
