Just thought since i hadn't seen one of these yet, there should be one. Mike Brown's out and hopefully P-JAX will return! Time to win another championship. |

Jackson, Lakers reunite with three-year deal LOS ANGELES -- Phil and Kobe, together again. Phil Jackson is back with the Los Angeles Lakers following a breakup that took a year to mend, and back to coaching Kobe Bryant http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2084948 |

^^^^Nice try. Have seen you posting that in other threads. You can post the article again in this thread if you want in about two days or so when Phil gets the job again. :D |

Hey look, the Lakers are 3-1 in their last 4. Rhythm starting to look good now without Brown as coach, was a good coach but not for this team. Next up is the spurs, possibly with Phil Jackson. |

Lakers victorious over the Kings tonight. The play of the game was Metta catching a lob from Kobe for a two handed dunk.

Force Bernie to keep the job. Kobe: "Bernies fine. He gets the fuck outta the way." Too much talent and IQ.

FUCK! D'Antoni better NOT fucking run a fast paced offense. Also does anyone know if he's good at defense? Not sure about him in that department. |

^^^I'm starting to feel a bit differently too . . . His offense fits perfectly for Nash and Howard, so it could tremendously benefit the Lakers there, and with Howard and Gasol as defensive monsters right now, D'Antoni won't need to worry about that side of the ball. The downside is that this means Nash will get more control, which could potentially mean less opportunities for Bryant and therefore less points and efficiency. So many things can go right, but so many things can go wrong. Such a huge gamble. |

Isn't it funny how as soon as Brown is fired we start winning? Always rooting for the Lakers I knew it would take time to get going anyways.

Yeah. I think it's hugely because we're not using the princeton offense anymore, which completely made Nash useless and Howard a lot less effective. Now, when we get Nash back with D' Antoni, both Nash and Howard should thrive with him, but we need to keep on the defensive side as well, and make SURE that Bryant gets the ball. |

WestCoastMXC - Isn't it funny how as soon as Brown is fired we start winning? Always rooting for the Lakers I knew it would take time to get going anyways. That's because their on a home stretch playing the Kings and Warriors. Teams the Raptors could beat. It's inevitable. The Lakers forsaw this and fired Brown now rather then after the home stretch. They never wanted him. Mike damn Phony aka Pringles crumbled under the spotlight in NY. Curious to see how he's going to handle being under a microscope dealing with the show time lakers that are championship or bust
