Let's be honest, the UFC hasn't been about the best fighters in the world for some time, but rather making money. I'm cool with that. whereas I don't think Nick deserves a shot at GSP until he works his way up, I seem to be in the minority on this forum. So, quite frankly, I think Nick should get his shot at GSP. Assuming he can go 30 days without getting stoned to escape the reality that GSP will dry hump and bash his face with elbows for 25 minutes, I say give Diaz his chance. Regardless of my thoughts of him as a person (I love weed BTW, this isn't an anti stoner thing) he is a great fighter. He has balls of steel, a granite chin, and great fighting spirit. Do I think he beats GSP. No. No. No. But if the fans want it, and apparently they do, I say let Nick get his chance against Georges. However I will LOL when GSP fights Anderson and the 209 contingent proclaims it to be a tucking from Nick. :-). XOXO love you all. |

Nick Diaz doesn't deserve a shot against GSP until he WINS against Condit. If last time was a fluke or controversial, then it should be no problem. He just has to show up and pass the test. |

He deserves the shot...is Chael Sonnen can fight for the title over and over in the UFC and WEC than why cant Nick Diaz. He was the Strikeforce champ, beat BJ, pretty much beat Condit and is now on the shelf. It has a much better story than any fight. Way better then Jones/Sonnen, even tho Jonny is my boy. |
