Played an hour or so tonight. Pretty overwhelming to just jump in. Still not entirely sure wtf is going on. Playing on Helios server My laptop is running it just fine on medium/low

Very very overwhelming to begin. I dropped right into a battlefield and was shot within 3 secs. Kinda getting the hang of it. Playing as a medic and just following my team about till i get used to it

If you guys don't have a ssd but have 16gb of ram. Make a ram disk and move ps2 onto it Makes the game run waaaaaaay faster.

spent a coupla hours in this so far - it's pretty crazy. huge! pretty impressed so far, but it's a lot to take in and there is zero handholding. there are some handy tutorial vids on their site. http://www.planetside2.com/game-tutorials |

I spent all night playing, I cant get enough. I am an infiltrator using the Shadow scout rifle with a short range 1x sights on it. (ANTI SNIPER BABY!) My reaver has A2A and upgraded chain gun and my Heavy Assault rifles all have the NV sights. I cannot stop playing, this is damn amazing. nickgjj I'll add you when I get home tonight, anyone else playing on Connery?! |

Started playing a few days ago, only put about 3 hours in. Been sniping alot, great fun in an open world, and also played a bit as a medic + engineer. I like that the max soldiers require an engineer to repair them rather then heal them. You get tons of exp following one around repairing them and dropping ammo for everyone else. |

Started this today, died like 25 times in maybe 15 minutes lol, came back to it after watching the tutorials a bit, managed to get some kills as an infiltrator What's the best way to rack up the certification points for upgrades ? Going as vantu or whatev on the AU Briggs server

You get cert points for kills etc, but you even get 'em when your offline apparently, depending on how much territory your faction controls. I chose the vanu sovereignty, which was apparently a great choice since they own most the world on my server, lol. |

Easiest class is engineer. But if you wanna be a bad ass. Light assault is where it's at. 100 kills 20 deaths ;)

Reaver with rocket pods. If you really wanna farm kills.
