It's being reported that the odds of Ryback leaving the 2012 Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view as the WWE Champion are very slim. However, WWE does want him to continue to look strong, so the word going around is that Ryback will be distracted by Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns and destroy all three of them while C.M. Punk climbs the ladder and retrieves the WWE Championship belt. |

So basically the same shit they've done the last 3 ppvs. WWE really backed themselves in a corner with Ryback taking off as fast as he did. Should have put him on smackdown for at least a year.. |

They did bring him up too quick. He should have had a year of running through people (with some occasional tough matches) until the fans were clamoring for a title shot. It would have made it mean something. Once they fast tracked him, he basically needed to win that title match vs Punk. Now that he hasn't they're in a bind IMO. |

triso - They did bring him up too quick. Agreed. Though he could probably have been IC or US champ by now. Then ease him into the Main event title picture. |

Ryback & his fast push both remind me of Goldberg. They need to build up a streak of him squashing jobbers and beating midcarders- perhaps a US/IC Title run, then let him win the World Heavyweight Title instead. Turn him into the most feared dude in the WWE, with the resumé to back it up.

I miss the random local jobbers giving in ring promos for Ryback. |

Having the champ cheat to win is classic though, prolonging the chase is not a bad thing. In particulat because CM Punk has never defeated Ryback without some kind of help. Giving Ryback the title too fast would be the biggest mistake of all. |
