So I have been having some trouble with windows explorer crashing and restarting after a recent win7 critical update, the one on 11/29 as near as I can tell.

I have completed scans with Kaspersky and MalwareBytes, no infections found. Doing a system restore fixed it, but then it reapplied the patch and eventually it happened again.

Any suggestions? I used shellExView and turned off services, none of them had an effect. The only fix that worked was the system restore to pre-patched.
