Never thought I might need this dvd because I am a 240lb guy but then I started working with our college's offensive line. Grappling with them to keep them in shape in the off season. Now with most being over 300lb I am the small man. I might need this DVD set ha!!

I feel your pain. There's nothing like always having been the bigger guy and then having some athletic animal who outweighs you by 50 lbs drop into class and try to take your head off! And wtf???! I posted 5 different video previews and now my browser is showing me that I posted the same one at least 3 times up above (the counter to the backstep guard pass). Is anyone else seeing this or is it just some weird quirk of the computer I'm on (I'm travelling at the moment)? |

And I don't know why the preview videos were displaying incorrectly in this thread yesterday. I'm on a new computer today in a different city, and it all works fine again. There was disturbance in the force, I suppose... |

Impossible, no gi is all about size, strength and athletic ability... |

liquidrob - Impossible, no gi is all about size, strength and athletic ability... I know you're being tongue in cheek, but a LOT of people actually believe that. Doing no gi improves your athleticism, but the truth is that there ARE technical ways to pass the guard, improve your position, and tap people out in no-gi. And the corollary is that that doing no-gi can have a very positive effect on your gi training by injecting some of the athleticism and that transitional timing back into your gi game. |

Does Disc 4 focus on escaping from pins or just avoiding them? |

Sorry for the slow response BENDO - it mostly focuses on avoiding the pins - pre-emptive escapes and escapes in transition. This is the area where we felt we could make the biggest contribution |

And here is one more preview that I just released on Youtube. This has to be my favorite followup to the butterfly guard sweep of all time! |
