He said that he hated dieting and cutting water, imagine if he had to diet and cut twice as much. No way would he do it.

I'm sure there are tons of fighters that don't like doing that stuff but they do it anyway.

BJ COULD but doesn't want to and that's fine and all but for the love of all that is Holy...stop fighting at 170.

Wins or losses don't need justification so I have no idea what you mean. But I base it on his winning a jiu jitsu world title as adult in that weight range, his height, his frame, how lean he was at 155, years of reporting on his training...take your pick Phone Post

i think BJ is best suited at LW....

i think the real issue he's running into now, is that his boxing/jiujitsu style doesn't score points.... while he always had the legit KO or submission threat, he is obviously slowing down and other fighters realize his offense is basically just punching.

i think if BJ took some time to integrate more kicking (not neccessarily muay thai, maybe something like how Siver kicks could suit him) and bringing his weight down, and he would present a threat again. but if he wants to keep doing what he's doing, he's simply not gonna beat the top guys at 155 or 170.
