I havent seen one since the 90's. Maybe in spite of all the roids that are being used, a lot of people have evolved past the dojo storm. i know some teams still send out spies to join other clubs and assess thier skill level while learning some new stuff, but has anybody here seen a full-on 'chinese connection'- style dojo storm lately? |

Yoji Anjoh may not have been one of the best fighters to ever grace this sport, but he's got one of the biggest set of balls for storming Rickson Gracie's dojo. Sure he ended up getting his ass kicked by Rickson, but how many people have the balls to show up at somebody's dojo and do what he did? Not many. Also, after Anjoh got his ass kicked, he didn't wine or cry, he came back a day or two later and shook Rickson's hand. Also, props to Rickson for not calling the police or calling a lawyer. If somebody tried this shit today I could see the police getting called and lawsuits happening. I miss the days of dojo storming. |

Yeah, dojo storming was back when men were men.
Could you imagine storming a dojo and screaming 'Let me bang bro, just let me bang!' and then crying?
I like to hope the Dojo's answer would not be 'But I do let you bang bro!' and to hug you deeply, with no shirts on.

No dojo stroming needed nowadays, just ask when the good pros are sparring. Or just roll with their top guys if you question their skills. Dojo storms are less popular becuase people are willing to do more open sparring/rolling, no storming needed. |

i have never heard of a dojo storm with a happy ending. the closest thing i have seen to a dojo storm recently is about eight mma players chasing away thieves that were rummaging through cars in the parking lot. until the thieves started shooting. the mma blokes stormed back into the dojo, me too. |

I'm embarassed that we used to do them 15 yrs ago. My instructor always hated them and told us they were stupid and immature and he was right. |
