The way Cain moved forward from the first bell on was incredible. |

You have to have Cain's cardio to execute that kind of game plan.

Would anybody besides Cormier have the skill set to pull that off though? The wrestling skills and pace Cain puts on seems very unique....

FCFBlazer - On the way to beat Johnny Bones?I said the same thing. Get into jbj face and don't let him set up. How else will you beat him if you don't do that? Stayin on outside clearly doesn't work as its been showed.

This whole "blue print" thing is kinda silly imo. The "blue print" to beat almost anyone is obvious. Its doing it in reality that is the challenge. There is no secret on how to beat a striker or how to beat a grappler. |

Exactly. Pressure pressure and stay in his face. Exactly why a lot of people think Hendo could do this to Bones. ? I doubt it though.

Hendo and Cain's games are completely diff though, Cain maintains or even has more pressure on the ground, Hendo's ground game is pretty non-existant |

So the blueprint is to clinch with him? Call me a skeptic.

the blueprint is what cain did to jds to obtain the belt. so whenever you are about to fights jds, hire cain to do what he did. |

So why did Nick Diaz think that was the way to beat GSP and thank Cain for providing the blueprint then?

FCFBlazer - Exactly. Pressure pressure and stay in his face. Exactly why a lot of people think Hendo could do this to Bones. ? I doubt it though. Jone will elbow your face in the clinch if you push him against the fence. repeatedly. |

I don't think so. Jones is a much better wrestler than JDS. There is no one at light heavyweight that will be able to do that to Jones. (well maybe Cormier if he drops down to 205).

One too many on a UFC night is the same as saying 'he fought too much' about a fight, or the words 'too busy' in a waitresses vocabulary.
One too many, pfft. If you can still find your keyboard you're way behind one too many where I come from.
For your edification, the guy on the right is one too many. Dude on the left could maybe do a few more. |

Wasa-B - This whole "blue print" thing is kinda silly imo. Yep. And yep also on Hendo. Hendo has nothing vaguely resembling Cain's cardio and unless he drops his opponent with a punch, he typically has no GnP whatsoever. |
