I'm watching the Babalu fight right now and can't help but notice how much the commentary sounds like Goldberg and Rogan. Almost like they've taken a blueprint from them and are mimicing it. Re-watch Renato's fight in particular, especially the post fight replays. Guy sounds just like Joe.

Was a lot more pauses in talking. Which is either better or worse depending what you like but you'll notice lots of empty air in comparison.

Both good commentators, quality team Jimmy Smith fought mma and did that fight quest show or the other one, not the Jason Chambers show |

We was on the other one, 2 similar shows, Chambers was with that big ex football guy, Jimmy Smith was with an ex military guy |

They're actually a really good commentary team, I hope Jimmy and Sean stay with Bellator for a long time

Sean is decent, except for when some goes for an armbar. He gets really excited about the possibility of going 'belly down!!!!' Max

Good question, OP. You know, I rolled with the Bellator commentary team last month. I also rolled with their trainers, too. Oh ... See that guy over there? I rolled with him last week.... excellent guard. ...what was the question again?

they have worked well together for quite a while. they have also done bodog m1, and maybe a few others(?). they have solid chemistry, a thick, solid, tight commentary team. i hope they stick together for a long time. |
