After getting the green light via CindyO from DFW, my next charity potrait will be of the man himself (and I'm hoping somehow to get it autographed by Dana as well when it's finished). Dana's been awesome to Frank and is even taking him and his wife to the UFC event in Jersey...in large part due to the efforts of some great folks here (you know who you are!). Other than any shipping & ebay/paypal fees that may arise from auctioning it, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our boy UCTT_NKTKDace via #FranksFight. But I'll need the UG to help get the word out and help get some good bidders when it's done (I'm still a no-name MMA artist, but I know between all of us we could do a great job getting people interested in bidding...after all, look at how much success we've had with #FranksFight thus far!). The pic I chose to work from is one of the ones that fellow UGer, and all around great guy, The Geek took at the Seattle UG Q&A event that Dana did.

Thanks guys. Big props to Geek for the source pic and to everyone who's supported Frank & Wendy during this time. Dysfunctional or not, the UG knows how to do people right at times and #FranksFight represents the MMA fan community at its best, IMO. |

dannyapodaca - Great job but I think he's missing his ear now I'll be sure to add a sweet scar behind it. Or I could make it a cut-and-fold thing where you can peel back the ear and beneath it is all bloody skull hole. Interactive art...very avant garde... :) |
