Vinyl, cd, whatever.

What kind of music.

What instrument did/do you play.

Label.

Distribution.

I haven't, but I know there are a lot of musicians on here and I'd love to hear and find out more about your project. Phone Post

I'm an idiot. I'm drinking and realized that I have released an album. 2 actually. Not my own music though. Which is why I forgot.

About 10 years ago, I started a label and put out two CDs. Both were friends bands. 1 was a Korn-type band and the other was a post-hardcore band.

Created the thread thinking more about the musician's side of things though.

That's my way of TTTing the damn thing. Phone Post

Unfortunately no. My old band wrote a bunch of songs, all instrumental, and recorded some crappy versions on a 4 track. I still have them. We were supposed to add lyrics, had all the songs named etc...and wanted to lay down quality versions. They were pretty cool alt rock songs, lots of time changes, I still listen to them from time to time.

But then my drummer had kids, then I had kids, our bassist joined another band and it fizzled. We are all really close friends and we still talk about doing it just for fun some day. Phone Post

I've produced an album, but never released one myself. I used to have a ton of songs we played.

Playing live is more fun than album IMHO

If you like metal, hardcore punk, mixed with ambient stuff. You might like us. And if I were to say we sound like anyone, I'd say: converge, American nightmare, the chariot, and tera melos.. Phone Post

I agree about playing live, but since that dream has been fulfilled, putting out an album is still on my list.

What did you put out? Promote your shit. Phone Post

No link. I literally have them on old tapes. And they were recorded with a vocal mike into a 4 track. Only reason we recorded them was so we wouldn't forget them!

They sound terrible (imagine recording a three piece through a regular mike in a practice room) but the songs were pretty good.

I envy the kids of today. I have a snowball mike hooked up to my iMac and can record almost studio quality. Wish I had that back when I actually played! Phone Post
