It is "unofficial" of course, but I did it!

I'm not gonna get into numbers because everyone on here is a pathological liar it seems when it comes to weight-lifting numbers. But it was the school's squat record.

Actually feels pretty damn good to put up the highest number in the history of a school. --I know it's not the Olympics or anything like that, but hey, I'm just braggin' a little.

Funny thing is, I'm not even really a weight lifter. But I was there teaching a seminar and I saw the record on the wall and went for it.

I'm sure no one cares in the least, but so what? It was a good day for an old man!

At first I thought you meant that you were in high school and I was gonna be all like "whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?" but then later on you mentioned something about being an old man so I guess you aren't really in high school you there for another reason and then I reread your post and it said something about teaching a seminar and trying to beat the record and doing it so I guess I would have realized that you weren't in high school if I had taken my time and read your original post a little better.

There is always "that jealous dude".

It happened today at the "Archer School for Girls" which is well-respected private college prep academy here in Brentwood AND was witnessed buy one of the P.E. teachers there.

Sooo... I don't know what to tell you other than, it happened.

Sorry if you haven't had many accomplishments in YOUR life, but I thought I would share one of mine.

Only on the OG would some fat sofa bison come and brag about setting a squat record at an all-girls school. Indicative of a larger problem with our society as a whole...the internet has fostered an environment in which you can impress the vast majority of its users with unremarkable acts simply because they themselves have never taken part in actual physical activity. I'll bet most of the people who post here don't even know what a squat is, but they'll come on here pretending to have the spirit of a lion, when in reality they have only the heart of a turtle.

First off.

Are you a female, and are you attending this school currently?

No, I am NOT a female.

I teach self-defense seminars several times throughout the year at the school.

I was killing time before teaching and wandered into the weight room, by myself and on a chalk board were written all the "school records" for the weight room.

I went for the squat max, then surpassed it, as I said by a wide margin. A P.E. teacher came in and saw this as we chatted.

It was on a brand-new Nautilus Leg Squat/Leg
Press machine.

OK...?
