How many potential title fights have been lost?

Just recently: Overeem losing to Big foot (would have fought Cain) Rashad losing to Lil Nog (would have fought Anderson) Bisping losing to Belfort (would have fought Anderson) I know there's more. This shit seems to happen all the time.

George Sotiropolous if he beat Siver, Pettis if he beat Guida, Miller if he beat Benson, and Guillard if he beat Lauzon. Benson Henderson ended up getting it after beating Guida in the top contender fight. You have ignored this user.

Just recently:

Funny thing about Reem losing is it set up a great contender fight against JDS and since Cain is fighting that night as well the UFC actually gained by it...

Somehow if BF beat Cain and Reem beat JDS you'd have a crazy rematch for all the marbles. Phone Post

You can probably add Siver if he beat Cerrone and Cerrone if he beat Diaz.
