I have never used either program before, but I came across these sites a while back and was blown away with some of the shit and how powerful the programs seem to be. These sites are both ran by the same guy, and until fairly recently all of the tutorials were free.....but now they charge for some of the stuff, but they do still have free tutorials too. On the Maya site they just put up an 18 HOUR Apache helicopter tutorial.... 
....BADASS!

Whoa! I just saw this on www.3Dtotal.com.... The girl that did it was in the same class I was, for the background scene that's posted here. She's a friend of mine, but a little crazy. |
