What is Bujutsu? Is this Ju Jitsu? BJJ? Any kicks? Grappling? Only standup? |

I remember this from Lusbater's book "The Ninja" (I loved that book) - Bujutsu is a name for the all the Japanese martial arts kind of combined. |

Bujutsu is a generic term for martial arts. Today the term budo is used more frequently, except maybe when dealing with certain classical Japanese martial arts. Many make a big deal of the whole jutsu/do thing, but it is pretty much interchangable. |
