Well, I made the leap of faith and decided to go full time with my video business. I have a lot of freelance work booked for the next two months and figured this was a somewhat safe time to give it a shot. Here goes everything! |

CONGRATS!!!! That is awesome. Having switched to it full-time is the best thing you could have done. Now get out there and market yourself! What all are you doing? What are you working on? |

I went full time at this point based on the freelance work I have lined up for the next couple months not to mention my own projects (fight shows). I'll be working on several dance recitals, commercials, and fight shows. It's enough to get by. The great thing is that my employeer still wants to keep me on as a "part time" emplyee. I work as a P.I. during the day. By the time things die down with the freelance work, I'll have myself built up/marketed enough to make it. Hell, I only need one or two weddings a month on top of what I already do to make it finacially. |

Things are really going well right now. I'm geeting calls everyday for projects (freelance and my own). |

655321 is pronounced six double five three two one. It was Alex's inmate number in "A Clockwork Orange". I'm obviously a fan of Kubrik. I'm thinking it's time to change my company name now that I'm going legit. I want something that conveys "video services" as I read somewhere that this helps draw in business. I don't want to use my name but everything else has been done/used. I'd like to go the "Digital Memories", "Captured Moments", etc. tpye route but they've been done to death. Of course, I would do something like "Digital Memories Video Services". Anybody have an original idea I could use? |

That makes sense. Man it has been years since I saw that. I remember back in the late 80's trying to read the book and decided I didn't want to deal with trying to figure out the cockney, even though it had a dictionary in the back. All of my ideas for names are too cheesey to put down. You could always use "Cheesey Poofs Video Service"...j/k. (southpark reference) |
