I was hoping to learn more about this myself, but since no information has been posted, I'll take a flyer at a prediction. The Ultimate Fighter 2 Heavyweights will need competition and that competition isn't likely to be the few names they have in the UFC stable (Arlovski, Mir, Buentello, Sylvia). So I expect that Gannon will be set up for a fight against one of the TUF2 heavyweights. His role will be similar to recent fighters (Mahood, Pete Sell, Shoney Carter) against TUF 1 fighters where he is anticipated to be good competition, but not necessarily the winner (so as to further promote the TUF2 heavyweights. Just a friendly prediction. I will certainly be rooting for Gannon to stun the crowd with an upset. |
